ゴールデンジョイスティックアワード（Golden Joystick Awards）公式Twitterアカウントは10月8日（土）、2022年の同アワードにおける部門別ノミネート作品を公開した。現在、「GamesRadar＋」にて投票を受付中である。

「ゴールデンジョイスティックアワード」は1983年より続く、歴史と権威あるイギリスのゲームアワード。2022年度では、一部の例外を除いて2021年11月23日から2022年11月4日までに発売された作品が対象となり、11月22日（火）に開催されるデジタルショーイベントで結果が発表される形だ。
今回公開された情報によれば『エルデンリング』が「Best Multiplayer Game」、「Best Visual Design」、「PlayStation Game of the Year」、「Studio of the Year」（フロム・ソフトウェア）の4部門に名を連ね、最多ノミネートを達成している。
このほか『Horizon Forbidden West』などが僅差で続き、長きにわたって遊ばれ続けている作品を表彰する「Still Playing」には『ファイナルファンタジーXIV』や『フォートナイト』、『マインクラフト』などがノミネートされた。
そして未発売の期待作の中から最高のものを選び出す「Most Wanted Game」としては『ゼルダの伝説 ティアーズ オブ ザ キングダム』や『ファイナルファンタジーXVI』、『ストリートファイター6』などが挙げられている。果たしてどのタイトルがアワードに輝くのか、11月22日（火）のイベント本番を楽しみに待ちたい。
