The former Apprentice runner-up and TV presenter took aim at Prince William and Kate finding particular fault with their recent Christmas special with Mary Berry. The couple had recently teamed up with the baking guru for the BBC’s ‘A Berry Royal Christmas’, which aired this week. On the show, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge helped Mary prepare a thank you dinner for 150 charity staff and volunteers who give up Christmas Day to work for their charities.
But, Ms Khan questioned the couple and their charitable motives behind the show.
She said: “I don't think everybody buys into this ‘perfect prince’ and ‘perfect princess’”.
The presenter went on to say she thought the royal couple were “privileged” and need to properly focus on real charity work rather than TV stunts.
“I do believe if you're going to make a documentary with the Royals, let us see them do some proper charity work.”
However, after saying this, Loose Women panelist Carol McGiffen interrupted saying that the Royals had worked with the charities featured in the Mary Berry documentary “for a long time”.
“They didn't just pluck these charities out of the air to do this documentary, did they?” she said.
At that point it was stressed to Ms Khan that both Kate and William do more charity work than her.
But the she hit back at the critics countering that her charity work was balanced against being a mother and her job, things the Royals didn’t struggle with as it’s their main role.

In contrast, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have remained out of the public eye this festive period.
The pair have spent some time on a break from royal duties in America after it was revealed the Duchess was struggling under the pressure of Royal life and as such the couple are expected to spend Christmas with the Duchess’ mum.
Meghan and Harry earlier this year revealed they are planning to give their son Archie Harrison a baby brother or sister and become a family of four.
Royal commentator Juliet Rieden suggested the couple could return from their break to announce the arrival of a new royal baby next year.
Asked for her prediction for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry for 2020, Ms Rieden told Nine News Australia: "We might see another baby.
"I am hoping it’s going to be another Harry and Meghan baby."
Ms Rieden continued: "They have to get their skates on – they told us they want two and I think they might have another one next year.
"Who knows, she might even be pregnant now, we don’t know."
The Duchess faced intense scrutiny while pregnant with son Archie and sources close to Meghan suggested she will seek to spend more time in her native Los Angeles and deliver her second child in the United States.
