HAPPY FRIDAY! Time to distract yourself with some royal news this fine morning: remember the other day when the royal family rolled up to the Queen's Christmas lunch at Buckingham Palace? The event took place *right* after a clip of Kate Middleton shrugging off Prince William's PDA on television went viral, so naturally all eyes were on the royal couple. Especially eyes belonging to people convinced there's trouble in royal paradise.
The thing is, Kate and William showed up in separate cars to the event—Kate arrived with Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, while William drove in with Prince George. And there's been a lot of chatter in both the press and on social media about ~what it all means~. Especially since last year the entire family arrived in one SUV.
But update! It means literally nothing (shocking). According to TMZ's sources, "there's been no falling out between the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge," and there's a specific reason Prince William didn't arrive at the lunch with his wife.
