The Weeknd continues to roll out new content to his fans today with the release of his new music video for “Heartless.” He premiered the Illangelo and Metro Boomin-produced track last week, followed by a second single titled “Blinding Lights.”
In the video, The Weeknd gets increasingly inebriated and overwhelmed by the city’s glitz. This lines up with the song’s lyrics, where he sings about drugs on both verses:

Tesla pill got me flyin' like a cockpit
The Weeknd first announced a new album last November, referring to it as “Chapter VI” during a concert in Toronto. He’s continued to use that name in reference to his upcoming project, although it’s unclear if it’s an official title or simply a reference to his sixth release.
