Royal fans, continue to rejoice!
After releasing their Christmas card to the public at midnight, most of the Cambridge family—including Prince George and Princess Charlotte—joined Queen Elizabeth for church in Norfolk. While Prince William and Kate Middleton have made the walk from the Queen's Sandringham estate to St. Mary Magdalene Church numerous times, it was the first time their eldest children have done so. Their third child, Prince Louis, did not attend, presumably due to his young age.
The BBC reports that hundreds of well-wishers watched the children arrive at the church service. Charlotte looked festive in a forest green coat as she held both her mother and father's hands. Prince George wore a blue blazer and sweater.
Also walking beside them was their grandfather, Prince Charles.
After church, Princess Charlotte made quite the adorable attempt to curtsy on the steps as her great-grandmother, the Queen, drove by.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge even took George and Charlotte over to chat with the crowds. They offered the littlest royals flowers and gifts—and Charlotte was quite taken with one present in particular: a hot pink, blow-up flamingo.
She happily hugged the women who gave it to her and was seen bringing it back with her to Sandringham. Looks like someone may have a favorite Christmas present this year.
